Adriano Lazzarin, MD, is Director, Infectious Diseases Department, IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital and Full Professor of Infectious Diseases, Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Milan, Italy. Dr. Lazzarin received his medical degree from the University of Milan. He completed fellowships in Medical Semeiotics, Internal Medicine, and Infectious Diseases at the University of Milan. He was awarded board certification in endocrinology from the Medical School at the University of Genova and board certification in both internal medicine and infectious diseases from the Medical School at the University of Milan. Dr. Lazzarin is a member of the faculty and Director of the Post-Graduate School in Infectious Diseases at the Vita-Salute University. He is also the Director of the Infectious Diseases Clinic and Scientific Director in Clinical Research at the San Raffaele Scientific Institute, all located in Milan.
